JoyPage

Privacy Policy

Effective 31 July 2026

We collect what's needed to build your page and nothing else. No analytics, no tracking cookies, no ad pixels, and nothing sold to anyone. Ever.

Who we are

JoyPage is operated by YuG LLC, registered in Washington, USA. For anything on this page, email support@joypage.app.

What we collect

  • What you type into the form. The recipient’s name, your name, their interests, memories, inside jokes — whatever you choose to tell us so the page can be about them.
  • Your email address, which Stripe passes to us when you pay, so we can send your link and reach you if something goes wrong.
  • A record that you paid — the amount and Stripe’s reference for it.

We never see your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page. Card numbers never touch our servers.

We don’t run analytics, we don’t set tracking cookies, and there are no advertising pixels anywhere on this site.

What happens to what you type

It’s sent to a third-party AI model, which uses it to write your page. It’s stored in our database so your page can keep loading. And it appears on your page, which is the entire point.

Who else touches it

These are the only companies involved, and each one only gets what it needs to do its job:

  • StripeProcesses payment and gives us your email address. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers.
  • Google (Gemini API)Generates the letter and the page from the details you submit.
  • Google Firebase (Firestore)Stores your page and the details behind it.
  • VercelHosts the site and serves your page.

If you ordered through Etsy, Etsy also holds your order and contact details under its own privacy policy.

We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t send marketing email you didn’t ask for.

Your page is public to anyone with the link

Page addresses are long and unguessable, and we instruct search engines not to index them, so your page won’t show up in search results. But it isn’t password-protected — anyone holding the link can open it. Only send it to people you mean to send it to.

If a page is about you and you didn’t agree to any of this

That’s the normal case here — pages are made as gifts, so the person on the page is almost never the person who filled in the form. You still get a say.

Email support@joypage.app with the link and ask us to take it down or to tell you what it holds about you. We’ll do it, and we won’t ask you to justify the request.

How long we keep it

For as long as your page is up, because the page is built from it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Ask us to delete a page and we’ll delete the page and the details behind it. That is permanent and we can’t undo it, so make sure you have anything you want to keep.

Please don’t send us sensitive information

Don’t put health or medical details, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers into the form. We don’t ask for any of it, we don’t want it, and we aren’t set up to protect that kind of data to the standard it deserves.

Children

You have to be 18 to buy a JoyPage. Plenty of pages are about children — birthdays being what they are — and if you’re making one about a child, you confirm you’re their parent or guardian or that you have permission from one. We don’t knowingly collect information directly from children.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One email to support@joypage.app is enough — no forms, no account required. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone regardless.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If we ever start collecting something materially new, we’ll say so here before we do.
