Who you’re buying from

JoyPage is operated by YuG LLC, a limited liability company registered in Washington, USA. You can reach us at support@joypage.app.

What you’re buying

One personalized celebration page, built from the details you give us and delivered as a link you can share. It costs $14.99 once. Sales tax is added where we’re required to collect it. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

How your page is made

Your page is generated by AI. You fill in a form about the person you’re celebrating, and we send those details to a third-party AI model, which writes the letter and assembles the page around them. Nobody hand-writes it.

That means results vary. The model reads what you give it, so a page built from three words will read like a page built from three words. You get up to 2 generations in total — the first one, plus 1 rebuild if you want a different take — included in the price.

What you can and can’t put on a page

By submitting details you confirm that:

• You have the right to share what you’re telling us about the other person. Their name, their memories, their photos.
• You won’t use a page to harass, threaten, defame, impersonate or humiliate anyone.
• You won’t submit anything unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit, and you won’t use someone else’s copyrighted or trademarked material without permission.
• You won’t submit sensitive personal information — health or medical details, financial account numbers, government ID numbers. We don’t want it and we aren’t set up to protect it.
• You’re at least 18 years old.

Your page is public to anyone with the link

Page addresses are long and unguessable, and we tell search engines not to index them, so a page won’t turn up in a Google search. But it isn’t password-protected. Anyone you send the link to can open it, and so can anyone they forward it to. Treat the link like a key.

Taking a page down

If you’re featured on a page and you’d rather not be — whether or not you bought it — email support@joypage.app with the link and we’ll take it down. You don’t have to explain why.

We can also remove a page ourselves if it breaks the rules above. If we do that because of something you submitted, you’re not entitled to a refund.

How long we keep your page up

Your page has no expiry date and there’s nothing to renew. We commit to hosting it for at least 5 years from the day you buy it, and we intend to keep it up well beyond that.

We’re a small business and we’d rather promise something we can keep than promise forever. If we ever have to shut the service down, we’ll give at least 90 days’ notice by email and make a downloadable copy of your page available before anything goes offline.

Refunds

Your page is generated the moment you pay, and it’s built specifically for one person, so we can’t resell it or take it back. Sales are final once your page has been generated.

That said, we’re not looking to keep money for something that didn’t work. Email us within 14 days and we’ll fix it or refund you in full if:

• Your page failed to generate, or never arrived.
• The page is broken, won’t load, or is missing sections.
• What we produced doesn’t reflect the details you submitted.

If something’s wrong, please email us before disputing the charge with your bank. A dispute takes weeks and costs us a fee whatever the outcome; an email usually gets you a fixed page the same day.

If you bought through Etsy

Etsy’s own policies apply to your order alongside these terms, and Etsy handles the payment. Everything above about how pages are made, what you can put on them, takedowns and hosting still applies.

The legal necessities

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we’re not responsible for how someone reacts to a page you made for them.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of King County, Washington.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Pages already purchased keep the hosting commitment that applied when you bought them — we won’t shorten it retroactively.
